  1. What are your delivery days?
    Delivery Times: Monday - Saturday 9:00am - 5:30pm.
The cost of delivery depends on area delivered to. London deliveries can range from £ 5.00 - £ 30.00 (NB. Sunday delivery is more). We require a 2 hour leeway for delivery. Balloon gas deliveries may require 4/5 days notice.
  2. Is balloon gas the same as helium and is it safe?
Balloon gas is usually a mixture of mostly helium with a small percentage of air. It is very rarely 100% helium. It is a safe non-toxic, non-flammable gas. However it should not be inhaled as it can be dangerous.
  3. How long does a latex balloon filled with balloon gas float?
Depends on the quality of the balloon but a balloon bought from Balloonland filled with helium should float 16/24 hours. However always take a helium filled latex balloon on the very day you need it and not for the next day. If balloons are treated with hi-float they will float longer but this will add to the cost.
  4. Does temperature affect balloons inflated with helium?
Yes. Helium will expand with heat and contract if cold.
  5. How long do balloons filled with air last and will they float?
They will last for weeks but will not float.
  6. Will you inflate balloons not bought from your shop?
Assuming they are helium quality balloons - yes.
  7. Do you gift wrap?
Yes. We gift wrap with cellophane, bow, ribbons and 5” latex balloons. An average cost would be £ 4.50.
  8. Do you print on partyware other than balloons ?
Yes we do! Napkins, badges, bunting and banners. Please call for details or complete the enquiry form.
  9. Can I rent an electric air blower from you?
Yes, either on a daily hire basis or weekly.
  10. How much notice do you need to book balloons for an event?
As much as possible especially if printing is required. However if we are able to we are happy to take last-minute bookings.
  11. If I was to ask you to create a balloon decoration what would be the best way to go about it?
If possible the best way is always to visit our shop. There you can look through the portfolio, obtain balloon samples and discuss in detail your requirements. If coming to the shop is not feasible then we can discuss your requirements over the phone.
